Description:
CREC is requesting proposals from qualified landscaping vendors. The contractor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive landscaping services across all district facilities, ensuring the aesthetic upkeep, safety, and functionality of all outdoor areas. This includes regular lawn care such as mowing, trimming, and edging, along with organic weed control and mulching. Seasonal tasks like spring and fall cleanup, sports field care, and aeration will also be performed. Additionally, tree and shrub maintenance will be carried out through pruning and deep feeding, while sprinkler systems will be winterized, started up, and regularly adjusted to ensure efficient operation. The contractor will handle all site cleanup, including regular debris removal and post-storm cleanup. All services must be performed using the contractor-s own tools and equipment, with strict adherence to state regulations, especially in regard to non-chemical weed control on school grounds. Vendors will have the option to bid on an alternate for field management, allowing for specialized turf care.
