THIS IS A NAVY IDENTIFIED CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM(CSI).
ALL REQUESTS FOR WAIVERS OR DEVIATIONS MUST BEFORWARDED TO THE DSC CONTRACTING OFFICER FORREVIEW AND APPROVAL..ALL ITEMS OF SUPPLY SHALL BE MARKED IAWMIL-STD-129. IN ADDITION, EACH UNIT PACK WILLBE MARKED WITH LOT AND SERIAL NUMBER (IF AVAILABLE),CONTRACTOR'S CAGE CODE, ACTUAL MANUFACTURER'SCAGE CODE AND PART NUMBER.
THIS IS A SOURCE CONTROLLED ITEM WHICH MUST BEMANUFACTURED AND TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THECITED LIMITED RIGHTS DATA. THE GOVERNMENT CAN-NOT PROVIDE THE DATA. ONLY THOSE VENDORS WHOHAVE ACCESS TO THE DATA OR CAN PROVIDE TRACE-ABILITY TO THE APPROVED SOURCES SHOULD QUOTE.SAR PACKAGE IS REQUIRED IF YOUR COMPANY ISCONSIDERING SOURCE APPROVAL.
