The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Evaluation Factors for the item listed below. The required item is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 and FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.

MUST BE RESISTANT TO WEATHER, OIL, SOLVENTS, AND MILD ACIDS HOSE TYPE SHALL BE BLUE K-TOUGH WIRE REINFORCED HIGH PRESSURE SUCTION & DISCHARGE HOSE AND MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: Tube: Clear phthalate-free PVC Cover: Blue phthalate-free PVC Reinforcement: High tensile strength yarn with galvanized steel wire helix Temperature Range: -5ºF to 150ºF (-20ºC to 65ºC) HOSES ARE TO BE PROVIDED IN 50 FOOT LENGTHS (+12” / -12”) HOSE MUST HAVE A MALE COUPLING (AA59326/2A-9-B or equivalent) ON ONE END AND A FEMALE HOSE COUPLING (AA59326/6A-9-B or equivalent) ON THE OTHER END. FITTINGS MUST BE RED BRASS ALLOY C84400. COUPLING MATERIAL SHALL BE RED BRASS ALLOY C84400 ONLY. NOTE: EACH COUPLINGS SHALL BE PERMANTLY/MECHANICALLY ATTACHED BY EXTERNAL CRIMPING, UTILIZING A STAINLESS STEEL CRIMP FERRULE IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUPLING MANUFACTURER-S RECOMMENDATION.
