THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a single source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Reference Number is FA441825QLSTR.
The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS) located at 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), SC intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Reading Truck Equipment, LLC for the procurement of lavatory service truck repairs with preserved manufacturers warranty.
This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive quotes; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation that shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
