This is an INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT by Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) and Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (FLCY) for Ship Repair services in support of repair and continuous maintenance of United States Navy Surface Ships. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The planned industry day serves as a market research tool to inform the industry of the United States Government (USG) requirements for ship repair, determine interest, awareness and capabilities for providing those services. The industry day forum will allow for networking and will allow the US Government to access local industry-s interest in participating in upcoming requirements. This event is open to all ship repair service providers authorized to do business in Japan, including existing Master Ship Repair Agreement/ Agreement for Boat Repair (MSRA/ABR) holders.
SRF-JRMC will present information regarding the USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19) 5C1 Dry-docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The presentation focuses on the content of 5C1 availability work package, skill requirements, workload projection, execution schedule, and contract strategies. The purpose of this Industry Day event is to help the Government-s ship repair partners understand the technical requirements that must be addressed in the solicitation proposal, and how to achieve technical acceptability in your first submittal.
