Description:
The Borough of Bergenfield is a municipal government entity located in Bergen County, New Jersey, with a population of approximately 28,000 residents within a land area of 2.9 square miles. The Borough is organized under the Mayor and Council form of government and is responsible for providing a full range of municipal services, including public safety, public works, sanitation, code enforcement, parks and recreation, and general administrative services. Bergenfield maintains a combination of residential, commercial, educational, and municipal facilities and is committed to ensuring the effective delivery of services, the maintenance of public infrastructure, and the responsible stewardship of public resources.For this reason the Borough of Bergenfield (“the Borough”) is soliciting bids pursuant to the public bidding process of New Jersey-s Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A 40A:11-4, et seq., and the Local Lands and Buildings Law, N.J.S.A 40A:12-1, et seq., for the lease of Borough-Owned Real Property located at Pelham Place, Bergenfield, NJ 07621, and identified as Block 78, Lot 3 of the Tax Assessment Map of the Borough of Bergenfield, County of Bergen, State of New Jersey together with all appurtenances, improvements, buildings, structures, sidewalks, parking lots and related areas (collectively the \"Property\").The primary purpose of this request for bids (RFB) is to secure a lease agreement, the proposed terms and conditions of which are included in this bid specification (the “Bid Specification”).
