Statement of Work
SWFPAC requires engine repair and replacement for two Lenco BearCat armored vehicles, one for diesel engine, front axle and tire replacement, and the second for diesel engine replacement.
Applicable References: OEM service manuals, Ford F-550 chassis specs, and Lenco BearCat maintenance manual.
1. Purpose:
This Statement of Work defines the requirements for two (2) Lenco BearCats:
Lenco BearCat #1, USN 95-31822, requires a complete replacement of the diesel engine, front axle, and installation of a new set of heavy-duty tactical tires. Lenco BearCat #2, USN 95-31820, requires complete replacement for diesel engine.
Each Lenco BearCat armored vehicle shall be restored to full operational capability to ensure continued performance is in accordance with manufacturer specifications in relation to requested repairs.
2. Scope of Work:The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the following tasks:

Engine Replacement (6.7L Power Stroke Turbo-Diesel V8)
Long block (part #DC3Z6007BRM) Long block labor and parts - (Complete) Includes new turbocharger, injectors, fuel rails, injection pump, glow plugs, intake manifold, water pump, oil cooler Replacement of all seals Replacement of all coolant Replacement of all tubes Replacement of all miscellaneous gaskets , fluids, and cleaners
Tire Installation:
Remove, mount and balance oversized tires, quantity 4, Goodyear G622 RSD 255/70R22.5H/16PLY
