Description:
Leon County Government (“County”) is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to provide continuing construction services for Officer Observation Rooms within the Leon County Sheriff-s Office (LCSO) Detention Center. This contract is intended to establish a continuing services agreement for similar renovation work that may be required at the facility.Examples of future pod projects may include:Furnishing and installing a pre-built, pre-finished painted Officer Observation Room in accordance with project drawings.Installation of two-lite wall panelsInstallation of door with lockset and all required hardwareInstallation of transaction drawerWire mesh ceiling with supporting structureInstallation of stainless steel shelvingAll necessary security glazing and caulkingThe County reserves the right to award to one or more vendors as determined to be in the best interest of the County. This Agreement will serve as the mechanism to authorize future officer station renovations and related improvements, as funding and operational needs allow.Future work may be authorized under the awarded Agreement using written work orders or notices to proceed and will be governed by the terms and conditions of said Agreement.No Guarantee of Work: The County makes no representation or guarantee as to the number or value of future work to be issued under this Agreement. The contractor acknowledges that work beyond the initial scope is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds and operational priorities.Contractors shall be licensed in the State of Florida as required by Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. Specific license type for this project shall be as indicated in Sections 489.105(3)(a)-(q) Florida Statutes, as applicable to the scope of work of the project.
