Description:
The San Benito County Resource Management Agency is requesting proposals to construct the Concrete structure for the Library Kiosk Equipment that the County of San Benito has already purchased. This is a plan and specs project, and it is necessary to adhere to the standard process. The Library Kiosk is a fully automated, self-service branch library book delivery infrastructure designed to improve access to reliable internet connections and library resources in the community.The IFB requests a proposal for the construction work, including but not limited to building a concrete structure, constructing a sidewalk, Ensuring ADA accessibility, Performing trench work, conduit installation for underground utilities, electrical and low-voltage, Installing underground conduit for PG&E utilities, and a light pole. The Library Kiosk Equipment and Canopy Structure will be provided and installed by the Envision Vendor. However, the Contractor is responsible for coordinating with all vendors—including Envision, the Special Inspections consultant, and PG&E—obtaining the necessary County and City permits, scheduling inspections, and collaborating with all involved entities to ensure the project meets all standards. The canopy structure footings are cast-in-place, and the Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the canopy installation vendor during the framework to ensure the accurate layout of the canopy footing.The 24-Hour Library Kiosk unit is approximately 10ft x 20ft and will be located at 3000 Truckee Way, Hollister, CA. The location is accessible from County Labor Camp Road.
