Description:
The Linn County, Missouri, Salary Commission shall meet at 1:30pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Linn County Courthouse, Linneus, Missouri in the County Commission Room. The Commission will consider the compensation to be paid for the next term of office for each county officer to be elected at the next general election. The compensation established will be paid in the years of 2026 and 2027. The meeting will be governed by the following agenda: 1. Call to Order by the Circuit Clerk 2. Appointment of a Temporary Recording Secretary 3. Selection of a Chairperson (Circuit Clerk presides until selection complete) 4. Selection of a Recording Secretary 5. Report of the financial condition of the County by County Budget Officer 6. Selection of compensation The meeting of the Salary Commission may be adjourned or continued to a later date if the Salary Commission is unable to reach a decision. The decision of the Salary Commission shall be made by ma jority vote. If the Commission is unable to reach a decision, the salary paid shall be the compensation paid during the succeeding term of office.
