Introduction:
This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy Aerospace - San Antonio, Texas. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals. No awards will be made from the responses to this announcement. However, responses may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for future procurement. This notice issued by DLA Energy Aerospace is to identify potential sources and solicit industry to express their capability and interest in providing all the production related facilities, raw materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the manufacture of Liquid Argon (LAR), Liquid Oxygen (LOX), and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2, LNA & LNL).
Specification Requirements:
Liquid Argon Type II, Grade C, NSN 6830-01-649-9072 shall meet the requirements of CGA G11.1, Argon, Liquid, dated August 9, 2023. Liquid Oxygen Type II, Grade A, NSN 9135-01-665-3259 shall meet the requirements of MIL- PRF-25508J, dated March 2, 2020, Propellant, Oxygen. Liquid Nitrogen Type II, Grade L, NSN 6830-01-666-3654 shall meet the requirements of CGA G- 10.1 dated October 3, 1994. Type II, Grade A, NSN 6830-01-666-3433 shall meet the requirements of Commercial Item Description A-A-59503D, dated October 24, 2019, Nitrogen, Technical. Type II, Grade A, NSN 6830-01-666-3433 shall meet the requirements of Commercial Item Description A-A-59503B, dated October 24, 2019, Nitrogen, Technical.
