THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION COMPETITIVE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Contractors shall not submit a quote until, and/or if, the solicitation is posted to the Governmentwide Point-of-Entry via www.SAM.gov. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) to award a Contract. Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner BNL determines is appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a competitive solicitation.
Background:BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York.BNL intends to compete, full and open, for Liquid He Dewar and Sub-Cooler to be utilized within the United States.Note: One or more of the items under this action is subject to Free Trade Agreements.
