The Contracting Officer has determined this item will be solicited unrestricted with other than full and open competition under authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1).
The item on this solicitation is coded as AMC/AMSC "1/R", which means this item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time and that The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights.
While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other factors as described in the solicitation.
The proposed procurement does not contain an option to extend the contract period. The total duration shall not exceed 5 years.
The proposed procurement is for National Stock Number (NSN) 5985013529675, ANTENNA.
FAR Part 15 procedures will be utilized for this indefinite delivery indefinite quantity acquisition.
Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. First Destination Transportation (FDT) applies to this NSN (F.O.B. Origin) and the Government will be responsible for for freight and tracking shipments to the final destination point for CONUS requirements. Unit of measure is "each" (EA). The estimated annual demand quanitity is 131 EA. The contract maximum is $14,183,370.00. Delivery is 50 EA due in 360 days at a rate of 25 EA month thereafter.
