The Naval Sea Systems Command expects to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) N00024-25-R-2443 on a sole source basis to Huntington Ingalls Incorporated (Ingalls Shipbuilding), 1000 Access Road, Pascagoula, MS 39568 for Engineering and Post Delivery and related technical data and material services in support of ship construction and maintenance for the LPD 17 Class Amphibious Assault Ships. The resulting contract is based on follow-on activities from contract N00024-21-C-2443 and will be awarded on a sole source basis because Ingalls Shipbuilding is uniquely qualified with the requisite background, knowledge, and experience required.
