The 131st Mission Support Group Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the replacement of a backflow preventer assembly. The existing assembly is in a below ground level valve pit/vault and is in the West Parade Field of Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station. This is one of two backflow prevention assembly systems for the domestic water service for the installation.
The contract duration will be 45 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110, with a small business size standard of $45,000,000. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.
The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 3 February 2025. A pre-quote site visit will be scheduled when the solicitation is issued. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation.
