Purpose: The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a market survey on behalf of the Project Director Tactical Artillery Systems (PD TAS) to identify potential sources for the procurement and delivery of the M119A3 105mm Towed Howitzer Artillery Power Distribution Assembly (APDA) [PN 13022798].
Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of PD TAS or ACC-NJ. The APDA is a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) that receives DC input power and distributes conditioned DC power to other LRUs of the M119A3 105mm Light Towed Howitzer Digital Fire Control (DFC). The APDA also incorporates an Ethernet Serial device server with an integrated Ethernet switch that provides a communication data link between at least four (4) TIA/EIA-422 Serial and at least four (4) Ethernet connections. The APDA serial server performs Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to serial and serial to TCP conversion and transmission of data at baud rates up to 230kbps. Delivery of APDA units in support of a requirement shall be in accordance with the provided Government Drawing 13022798, Performance Specification 13022798, and Interface Control Document (ICD) 13022806A. The Performance Specification and ICD may be provided upon request following receipt and approval of the following signed and completed documents: (1) DD Form 2345 - Military Critical Technical Data Agreement; (2) AMSTA-AR Form 1350 - Technical Data Request Questionnaire; and (3) a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Requests shall be submitted to the POCs for this opportunity.
