This sources sought notice has been issued to survey the market and assist the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in determining possible sources for consideration. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award.
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Wheel Assemblies is Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems Corporation (0B9R9). All component(s) must be procured from the OEM or OEM approved source(s). Sources must be United States Naval Supply Weapons Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) approved. The source must be able to provide a clear, documented, auditable trail of ownership and transfer of each part from the OEM to the final vendor. Vendors are requested to read the sources sought in its entirety to ensure information submittals are complete. The USCG does not own, nor can it provide specifications, plans, drawings or other technical data.
