Part Number FZ-40CZ-0DAM model has been discontinued. The one-to-one replacement is FZ-40GZ-0UBM. Part Number FZ-40GZ-0UBM shall be provided as the direct replacement for the discontinued FZ-40CZ-0DAM. See N68335-25-R-0280 Amendment 02 for details. Information is updated in RED. Also, the First Article Test Unit should include the entire set of part number 4091AS1000-2.

Question 1: Are there any optional components, accessories, or sub-assemblies in the P-8 Maintenance Laptop Set, or must the set be built exactly as specified in the build-to-print drawings?
Government Answer: In accordance with Section L; 1.0 Volume - Technical; A. Drawing Package / SOW: 1. The Offeror shall provide a detailed narrative discussion that demonstrates an understanding of the production requirements outlined in the SOW and drawings for the retrofitting and production of the maintenance laptops. 2. The Offeror shall provide a detailed narrative discussion that demonstrates an understanding of the requirements outlined in the SOW and drawings for both new item production and refurbishment. The Offeror shall demonstrate the capability to perform testing required or has identified a sub-vendor with the capability and experience. Also, in accordance with SOW, Section 3.1 General: The contractor shall provide materials and services as required to manufacture, assemble, and deliver the support equipment listed below: Maintenance Laptop Sets (complete), Part Number 4091AS1000-2. Contractor shall use Panasonic Toughbook Laptop part number FZ-40CZ-0DAM, and laptop power cord part number CF-AA5713A2M.
