Description:
The Vermont Agency of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as AOT, is seeking contractor services to collaborate with AOT to develop a comprehensive, tiered safety training curriculum designed to accommodate varying levels of knowledge and experience among personnel. The curriculum shall include beginner, mid-level, and advanced training modules, with clearly defined learning objectives and prerequisites as well as align closely with the specific types of equipment utilized and owned by AOT. The goal is to allow staff from each district garage to attend up to five consecutive days of training, progressing through appropriate tiers based on their roles and experience levels. The training shall address key safety topics relevant to transportation operations and maintenance, including but not limited to workplace safety, hazard identification, equipment operation, and regulatory compliance. Each training module must be clearly described, including format (e.g., in-person, virtual, self-paced), estimated duration, and any materials provided.
