The Contractor shall be responsible for performing preventative and annual maintenance on the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to ensure its continued operation in full compliance with the manufacturer-s specified operating standards, this microscope is manufactured by ThermoFisher Field Electron and Ion Company (FEI). The preventive and annual maintenance includes, but is not limited to, all necessary inspections, adjustments, calibrations, and any required repairs to maintain optimal performance and functionality in accordance with the manufacturer-s specifications. The “DRAFT” Performance Work Statement is attached. The following are some of the required tasks for this contract:
Tasks: The contractor shall perform the following task(s) as follows: Perform 6-month preventive maintenance (PM) every six months. Preventive maintenance shall include checks and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications, to ensure SEM functions at original capacity. Perform corrective maintenance (CM) upon malfunction, or after power outage within a target response time of three (3) business days.
