The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Northeastern Markets Contracting Division, Falls Church, VA on behalf of the Walter Reed National Memorial Medical Center in Bethesda, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to Proaim Americas, LLC located in Ellisville, MO.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive Quotations and no solicitation exists for this requirement. The anticipated PO award shall be made under the authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(2)(ii), the original and responsible source that installed and maintained the microscopes at WRNMMC . The contractor is to continue maintenance services and support of laboratory microscopes already installed by Proaim.
A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the government's discretion. No Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be available for competitive evaluations. This Notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the government will consider responses to this notice within five (3) days of this posting.
