- INVITATION TO BID ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Notice to Contractors Sealed bids for the Manchester Road Pedestrian Improvements STP-5504(604) Project will be received by the City of Manchester, Missouri, at the City Hall, 14317 Manchester Road, until 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025. All bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened. Scope of work: The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of existing pedestrian facilities and installation of new pedestrian facilities along Manchester Road (Rte 100) from Baxter Road to Hwy 141. A new pedestrian facility will be added to the north side of Manchester Road including a prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge over Grand Glaize Creek. The existing pedestrian facility along the south side of Manchester Road will be reconstructed. Curb ramps and commercial entrances throughout the corridor will be replaced (as required) to bring them into ADA complian
