(1) INTRODUCTION
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Facilities Engineering Branch - Center Engineering and Construction Section (ANG-E341) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) has an upcoming requirement to establish 69kV ring bus and automate switching operations to Power Monitoring and Control System (PMCS). The purpose of this market survey announcement is to solicit capability statements from interested companies.(2) NATURE OF COMPETITION
This Market Survey is conducted, in part, to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, including small business socioeconomic categories. With that said, this Market Survey is intended to seek information from interested Offerors of all sizes and types. The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. The determination for the level of competition will be based on the results of this market survey. The FAA may decide to do an unrestricted competition or a set-aside with a small socioeconomic business.
(3) PROCUREMENT DESCRIPTION
Phase I -Draft Statement of Work (SOW) Attachment I is provided as a means of outlining the broad scope of the work. This broad scope is to give Offerors an idea of the size of the project and the resources it will require. It is meant to be informational only.
