- The contract is for consultancy services to develop and maintain a Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) Knowledge Hub for the World Bank's Electrifying Africa Project (P180743). The main objectives are to support the World Bank team in establishing and maintaining a long-term knowledge hub for the DRE sector, which will serve as a reference point for teams working on Mission 300. This includes developing and maintaining four databases: DRE companies active in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), financiers of DRE companies in SSA, investment deals in SSA, and World Bank energy access operations in SSA. The contract also involves conducting associated analytics, disseminating knowledge for internal and external audiences, and providing strategic support to ASCENT and inputs to designing new and improving existing World Bank operations.
