Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Palm Springs Field Office has a requirement to perform work that will entail to the existing water system which is no longer operable and has been offline for many years. The new water distribution system with 1,500 gallons underground water storage tank will connect into existing wellhead and provide non-potable water to various campsites throughout the campground. The general location: McCain Valley Campground is approximately 6 miles north of Boulevard, California The period of performance for this requirement is 100 days after notice to proceed.The BLM will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation near late July 2025. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. Davis Bacon Act (DBA) is applicable, and the appropriate DBA Wage Determination(s) will be included in the solicitation. The Magnitude is Between $250,000 and $500,000.The competitive solicitation, 140L1225R0003, is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $45 million.
