Sources Sought ONLY, this is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to seek out interested small businesses capable of fulfilling this service requirement.
MCRD Parris Island is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide on-site repairs to two (2) Trane Temperature Chillers.
Repair Description:
TRANE U08AA06869 - Replacement of compressor to include labor and materials. Lockout/tagout unit, recover refrigerant from circuit #2, remove circuit #2 compressor, replace the circuit #2 compressor, remove and replace the contactor, remove and replace with new filter, Recharge the circuit with new refrigerant, reconnect the unit to power and water supply to run, verify operations, and remove lockout/tagout the unit.
TRANE U06J00144 - Replace two (2) condenser fan motors and two (2) blades to include labor and materials. Lockout/tagout unit, disconnect wiring from faulty motors, remove and replace the motors and blades, reconnect wiring and secure, remove lockout/tagout and verify proper operation.
