- Description:
- The Santa Monica Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for upfitting of non-revenue fleet vehicles. These vehicles include pool vehicles, service trucks and other non-revenue light and medium duty vehicles that may require additional equipment to adequately perform their assigned function.Bidders will provide vehicle upfitting, and light paint work. Must be able to install specialized amber/emergency lighting systems, toolboxes, low voltage, push bumpers, aluminum liftgates, and custom metal/plastic/wood fabrication. Installation of on-board computers, antennas, routers, and radio systems. Vendor shall provide vehicle cleaning and detailing services for vehicles on an as needed basis after any upfitting.This project will be federally funded, and all bidders must comply with all applicable federal clauses.
