- SFS Mechanical Services RFP - Project OverviewThe Putnam County School District (PCSD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide annual preventative maintenance and repair services for all school foodservice hot and cold equipment. The purpose of this contract is to reduce equipment downtime, extend the lifespan of critical kitchen assets, and minimize the need for emergency service calls. The selected vendor will be expected to maintain all designated equipment in reliable operating condition through manufacturer-recommended preventative maintenance and prompt, professional service.Services will include responding to School Food Service (SFS) requests, performing diagnostics, supplying labor and materials for repairs, and coordinating preventative maintenance visits with service calls when appropriate. Vendors must be able to meet strict response time requirements, including responding to routine repairs within one hour and arriving onsite within two hours, as well as arriving onsite for emergency calls within one hour, 24/7.This contract is valued at an estimated $150,000-$200,000 annually and will be awarded based on a technical evaluation that considers capacity, responsiveness, and service quality. PCSD is seeking reliable, experienced vendors who can demonstrate a commitment to high-quality service and long-term support for our foodservice operations.
