This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is 75N94025Q00094 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334519 and the business size standard is 600 employees. However, this solicitation is not set aside for small business. This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Item# NIR VFC Light Box with High Output LED With circular cut-out for Tether - Qty (2) EAThe lab staff are familiar with operating the Med Associates fear conditioning and extinction system. The use of Video Freeze software will be convenient and will not require additional knowledge of the operating language. The equipment requested will be compatible with the existing ones in the lab and can be connected all together to increase efficiency. It will allow for easy programming and integration of optogenetics and fiber photometry with automated scoring and synchronized video recordings during behavior.
