Description:
The City of Chesapeake seeks licensed medical providers to serve as Medical Directors for two distinct departments:Chesapeake Juvenile Services (CJS) - juvenile detention facility.Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (CIBH) ICF-IDD - two Intellectual/Developmental Disability Intermediate Care Facilities.Offerors may submit proposals to provide Medical Director services for Chesapeake Juvenile Services (CJS), Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare ICF-IDD (CIBH), or both. The City reserves the right to award a contract for one or both departments, based on the best interest of the City. An Offeror proposing for both departments must demonstrate the capacity, expertise, and coverage to ensure uninterrupted services across all facilities. A single Provider for all locations is preferred.Provider(s) will oversee and assess clinical services, ensure compliance with regulatory/licensing agencies, and maintain the highest standards of care for their designated facility.
