SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Diagnostic Medical Physicist Services for the following Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12 facilities: Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI; John H Bradley VA Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), Appleton, WI; Iron Mountain VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI; and Milo C. Huempfner VA Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), Green Bay, WI. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
Requirements:
Provide Diagnostic Medical Physicist services to provide inspections to X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Computed Radiography, Digital Radiography, Dental, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine equipment, display monitors, and Dental CBCT Acceptance and Performance Evaluation to ensure compliance with the current American College of Radiology (ACR) requirements.
Provide inspections after repairs or modifications under the compliance of ACR requirements to the equipment within two (2) business days, with results provided to the COR within 15 calendar days after completion.
Provide acceptance testing for new or relocated equipment with results provided to the COR within 15 calendar days after completion.
