BACKGROUND
The Pine Ridge IHS requires medical waste services for the following locations:
Pine Ridge IHS Hospital, Pine Ridge, SD; Martin Health Clinic, Martin, SD; Kyle Health Center/Wellness Center/Four Directions Clinic, Kyle, SD; Wanblee Health Center, Wanblee, SD
The hospital has determined that having medical waste transported off site, ground sterilized and disposed of in an EPA approved landfill bise incineration on site, under the new incinerator regulations, is more economical.
2.1 OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of this project is to secure a contract for medical waste services- weekly collection, transportation and proper storage and destruction of all the bio-hazard, infectious and medical waste on a weekly basis for the Pine Ridge HIS and outlying clinics.
CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS/ AND PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS (IF APPLICABLE)The Contractor shall furnish all labor and equipment, pay applicable taxes and have appropriate licenses. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for details.
TYPE OF ORDERThis is a firm fixed price purchase order.
