- Description : This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with Bayer Healthcare, LLC. The proposed contract action is to perform continuous service and support for the following Medrad systems: Mark 7 Arteriors Angiography Injection System, Portegra2 Overhead Counterpoise System, Intego PET Infusion System, Stellantr D CT Injection System, and Spectris Solaris EP MR Injection System. Bayer Healthcare, LLC will provide services to support continuous operations at the VA of Southern Nevada Health Care System. This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of proposed action. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, intends to award a sole-source contract under the authority of this non-competitive acquisition as implemented by 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Bayer Healthcare, LLC. located at 100 Bayer BLVD, Whippany, New Jersey 07981-1544. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest with a full description how all elements in the attached statement of work will be fulfilled by emailing gary.christensen@va.gov no later than 13:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 10/08/25.
