- The City of Chesapeake Integrated Behavioral Healthcare (CIBH) is seeking board-certified Psychiatrist(s) and/or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(s) who work independently to prescribe medication.The City will award contracts to multiple offerors through this process as there are three departments seeking providers:Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): This program serves clients with severe mental illnesses with complex needs that impact their ability to functioning independently in the community. ACT services are designed to provide a person with wrap around services from one team in a multidisciplinary model.23-Hour Crisis Stabilization: This program provides ongoing assessment, crisis intervention and clinical determination for level of care to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization is appropriate for individuals who have urgent behavioral health needs such as emotional dysregulation, disordered thought processes, substance use and intoxication resulting in behavioral crisis and environmentally de-stabilizing events.Psychiatric Services: This is an outpatient program based at CIBH that provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions in adult and children through medication management.
