SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: 353009 SPARE GATE VALVES

Technical Criteria as follows:
We require two units of a UHV all-metal gate valve. The valve body should be made from 316L stainless steel, with both the gate and bonnet seals constructed from metal (no Viton or other elastomers). The valve must achieve a leak rate of ≤ 10^-10 mbar·L·s^-1 at a 1 bar differential pressure. The flange-to-flange thickness of the valve body should not exceed 3 inches, and the inner diameter (ID) of the gate valve opening must be at least 2 1/2 inches. Each side of the valve should have a 4 1/2-inch CCF flange with UNF (inch size) threads. The valve should be manually operated via a hand wheel-driven actuator and include an open/close visual indicator. Furthermore, the valve body must be capable of being heated to 300°C for bake-out procedures

This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.
