- This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only.
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to EMD Millipore Corp., located at 400 Summit DR. , Burlington, Massachusetts 01803-5258. Services will be for one base year (12 months) from 01/10/2026 through 01/09/2027 under NAICS 621511 PSC J046. The overall purpose of this requirement is to procure PM Services for clinical laboratory reagent water systems at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) for pathology laboratory services at 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, LA 70119.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service EMD Millipore Corp. is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Therefore, this service is typically procured through a Sole Source without competition under FAR 6.302-1.
REQUIRED SERVICES:
Contractor to provide the Specialized Water System PM Maintenance & Repair Services.
Parts and materials used to complete the repair and maintenance authorized in accordance with EMD Millipore Corporation policies for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System located in New Orleans LA.
