Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.Statement of Work. Maintenance agreement for a Miltenyi AutoMacs Neo Cell IsolatorBackground. Research Services at the Boise VA Medical Center purchased a Miltenyi AutoMacs Neo to perform automated cell isolations in 2023. This instrument has been covered by the warranty and an extended warranty agreement that ends in September 2025.General Requirements. The fluidic nature of the normal functioning of the instrument makes it susceptible to leaks and clogging issues, consequently necessitating the need for a preventative maintenance and emergency repair services contract. The manufacturer requires that these services be provided by Miltenyi trained and employed service engineers.Tasks: Preventative Maintenance. A yearly preventative maintenance visit must include the following as per manufacturer s requirements:Performance assurance checkFunctionality and safety checkSafety inspectionsCleaning of operational contaminationsCleaning and greasing of mechanical partsExamination of all connecting tubesTesting of components according to Miltenyi SOP BGL-IS-SOP-000011Routine inspection and replacement of wearing parts Standard device software updatesTechnical Support Service. Contractor must provide support to resolve technical issues by phone during Miltenyi business hours.Repairs. The contractor has a targeted on-site response time of within 2 days of the initial call to troubleshoot issues.
