This is a Synopsis IAW FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Vegetation Management/Wildlife Protection Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Region 8 (Mississippi National Forests) with agreement numbers: 12444223A0031, 12444223A0032, 12444223A0034, 12444223A0038, 12444223A0039, 12444223A0042, 12444223A0043

Project Title: Mississippi National Forests, Mechanical Treatments BPA
Project Description: De Soto RD is requesting contract action for Mechanical Site Preparation (Roller Drum Chopping). The work is described in the 5.4.2 portion of the National Forests in Mississippi PBSC Vegetation Management. Work will be completed on 332 acres. Areas will be roller drum chopped in preparation for planting of longleaf seedlings.
