- Description:
- The City of Pontiac seeks qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the reconstruction of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from Woodward Avenue to South Boulevard East, including the full replacement of the bridge over the Grand Trunk Western Railroad (GTWRR). This project encompasses approximately 0.5 miles of roadway and associated infrastructure. Work includes complete pavement and structure removal, installation of new jointed plain concrete pavement, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, storm sewers, drainage structures, noise barrier walls, mechanically stabilized earth walls, bridge superstructure and substructure, lighting, traffic control, and site restoration. All work must be performed in compliance with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) standards, applicable City of Pontiac requirements, and coordination with GTWRR for rail-related activities.
