Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract. Pursuant to FAR 12 and 13.5, Veterans Health Administration VHA), Network Contracting Office 8 intends to conduct a sole source acquisition for onsite Mobile Ultrasound Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital located at 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 intends to negotiate a base year plus four (4) one (1) year option periods, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) fixed-priced contract.The Contractor shall provide unilateral or bilateral lower or upper venous duplex/doppler utilizing James A Haley VAMC (JAHVH) procedure guideline. This notice of intent to conduct a sole source acquisition is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any responsible source who believes it can perform the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 621512 Diagnostic Imaging Centers, with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.0 million. The classification code is Q523, Medical - Surgery.
