Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, located at Plaza LeCea, 5441 Babcock Rd., Ste 302, intends to add additional line items to its contract with ARUP Laboratories Inc. (ARUP), located at 500 S Chipeta Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108. This addition pertains to Test code 99564, Strongyloides Ab, IgG, Test code 3017653 Alzheimer's Disease Markers, CSF, and Test code 3016994 Toxoplasma DNA detection by PCR on behalf of the Pathology and Lab Medicine Department at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621511.Additional testing will be performed at ARUP or an associated ARUP client. Annual utilization is an estimate based on physician requests.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete the additional line items to the existing contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Therefore, responses from sources other than the ones mentioned above may express their interest and capabilities to perform the requirement by submitting written correspondence via email to Ognian.Ivanov@va.gov, no later than January 15, 2025, by 10:00 AM Central Standard Time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this notice of intent.
