Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

The U.S. Department of the Treasury is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for its Washington, D.C.-based technical assistance program. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist provides a wide range of operations management and administrative services to U.S. government employees and personal services contractors. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract.

The Office of Technical Assistance provides technical assistance in over 50 countries in five functional areas; economic crimes, government debt and infrastructure finance, budget and financial accountability, banking and financial services, and revenue policy and administration.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will contribute to, and at the discretion of the supervisor, lead efforts to develop, standardize, and implement OTA-s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) policies and practices. This position is responsible for contributing to the design of new M&E tools and procedures, collecting and analyzing project data, maintaining, implementing and refining existing procedures, methodologies, and tools for undertaking evaluations. This position is located at OTA headquarters in Washington, DC. After a probationary period, some telework may be allowed, but this is not a remote work position. Some travel will be required.
