- Synopsis : The DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) is seeking aqualified contractor to relocate the Movable Barrier System fromTR Bridge to designated storage locations, provide maintenanceservices for the Barrier Transfer Machine and associate Concreteand Steel Barriers at a designated storage area by the CA. Theselected contractor will be responsible for The preparation of Areas designated for storage of BarrierTransfer Machine and Barrier Systems relocating the Barrier Transfer Machine (BTM) and associatedspare parts. relocating Concrete and steel barriers. Performing routine maintenance tasks of the Barrier TransferMachine (BTM) as specified by the manufacturer and/or as perattached maintenance schedule (J.14 BTM Movable BarrierSystem Maintenance Schedule and J.15 Delaware Class BTMOperation and Maintenance Manual), to ensure the equipmentremains in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance to concrete and steel barriersystems as specified by the manufacturer and/or as per attachedmaintenance schedule (J.14 BTM Movable Barrier SystemMaintenance Schedule), to ensure the equipment remains in goodworking condition. Preparing and maintaining the storage area in a clean and safecondition, free from debris, rodents, and other hazards. Moving back and re-installing Barrier Transfer Machine (BTM)and Associate Parts at Theodore Roosevelt Bridge Moving backand re-installing concrete and steel barrier systems at TheodoreRoosevelt Bridge.
