Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst New Jersey, intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Rolls Royce Corporation (CAGE: 63005) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The anticipated Firm Fixed-Price contract is for the acquisition of the following Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) in support of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) and MQ-25A Reaper UAS Programs for the United States Navy and Royal Australian Air Force:
By-Pass Access Viewing Cover; P/N: 23060656; NSN: 1730-01-514-0840 Vane Plug Puller; P/N: 23063540; NSN: 5120-01-514-3953 Tee Handle Puller; P/N: 23068623; NSN: 5120-01-512-3474 Seal Rotor Puller; P/N: 23076498; NSN: 5120-01-600-0774 Exhaust Engine Removal Cover; P/N: 23055384-2; NSN: 2995-01-589-4152 Inlet Engine Removal Cover; P/N: 23055383; NSN: 1730-LL-ERG-5391The Government intend to solicit and negotiate this procurement under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)91), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as Rolls-Royce Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the above P/Ns. A solicitation will NOT be posted following the close of this synopsis, unless alternate offerors are identified.
Rolls-Royce Corporation is the OEM of the above P/Ns. The data rights for the P/Ns are proprietary to the OEM, and the Government does not have the rights to the data.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration for award of any Department of Defense contract.
