- The Town Of Preston, Connecticut Is Soliciting Sealed Bids For Completing Improvements To Theirmunicipal Transfer Station Located At 108 Ross Road.This Project Generally Consists Of The Partial Reconstruction Of An Existing Municipal Transferstation. Improvements Will Include A New Canopy, Precast Retaining Wall With Railings, Concretepads For Dumpsters, Waste Collection Hoppers, Expansion Of Paved Access Drives And Drainageimprovements. Demolition Of The Existing Transfer Station While Maintaining Operations For Townresidents Will Need To Be Completed, Which Will Include Removal Of Existing Walls, Concrete Pads,Scale, And Scale House And Possible Removal Of Material From Existing Landfill For Wall Installation.
