This Design-Bid Build projects requires a CERCLA clean-up effort and waterfront recapitalization at Base Seattle to support the homeporting of new USCG Polar Security Cutters. This effort is Phase 1A. Phase 1A includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of an existing building and pier (Building 3 and Pier 36, respectively), upgrading the fendering system and existingutilities, replacing and reconfiguring floating docks and boathouse, as well as dredging and disposing of contaminated sediment at Slip 36.
