Description
The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Gallup Indian Medical Center, New Mexico 87301 intends to negotiate a sole source award with New Mexico Gas Company, Inc for natural gas services for various locations within the Gallup Service Unit. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 221210 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

Period of Performance:
Base: 12 months
1st Option Year: 12 months
2nd Option Year: 12 months
3rd Option Year: 12 months
4th Option Year: 12 months

In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). New Mexico Gas Company, Inc. currently provides natural gas services to accomplish the mission objective of providing utility service to maintain hospital.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than New Mexico Gas Company, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 2:00 PM MDT on March 24, 2025. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
