Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notice of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic-s intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Tampa Microwave for evaluation and repair of Tampa Microwave transceivers and modems. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Tampa Microwave under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Tampa Microwave is the original equipment manufacturer and sole source supplier of the required components and authorized repair facility for the faulty materials identified requiring Test and Evaluation to assess for repair. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. Responses to the pre-solicitation notice can be submitted via the NAVWAR E-Commerce website at NAVWAR E-Commerce Central (navy.mil) by 8 April 2025. Questions concerning this notice should be directed to Brett Rice at brett.f.rice2.civ@us.navy.mil. All responses received by 8 April 2025 will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
