NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 1903 set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) (A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Naval Sea Systems Command Surface Warfare Center Carderock (NSSCSWCCD) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for repairs to a GC60 Irradiator to be completed by Hopewell Designs, Inc. 5940 Gateway Drive, Alpheretta, GA 30004. A sole source Justification and Approval has been reviewed and approved by the Small Business Professional. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
