Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with AAR Supply Chain, Inc. for the procurement of AR Modular RF Corp. (AR Modular) brand name radio frequency (RF) amplifiers. AR Modular is the only manufacturer that provides RF amplifiers which meet all requirements and ensure interoperability of the existing systems. AAR Supply Chain, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of the required amplifiers. The Government intends to procure the RF amplifiers through a five-year Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses must be sent via email to the POC listed.
